Davao Light and Power Co.(DLPC), has officially gone live with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM) last September 13, 2012. DLPC is the first Aboitiz Power Corporation Distribution Unit to fully utilize WAM built-in best business practices and pre-built integration technology. It is expected that the rest of the APC DU will be live with WAM by middle of 2013.

DLPC WAM is implemented by TCSDI to utilize WAM built-in best practices. This way, upgrade issues and in-line product innovation are to be fully utilized as Oracle continues to provide road map for their product. It is implemented in OU WAM version 1.9.0.4.4 and is expected to be updated to 1.9.0.4.6 or up to the latest release of OU WAM by end of the year.

DLPC WAM is integrated tightly with DLPC Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) using pre-built BPEL with EBS Supply Chain Model. It is also integrated with DLPC GIS system to generate designs and estimates and to provide assets initiation. WAM is also integrated tightly with Oracle Customer Care and Billing using pre-built Oracle Field Work PIP to generate Service request from different Field Activity generated from CC&B. TCSDI has built its own Inter-Process Integration kit (IPI) to provide auto synchronization, WAM updates, auto-transition process and tight integration in customer request estimation. TCSDI has also built an estimation portal within CC&B to fully provide DLPC functionalities in addressing customer queries for estimates. WAM is expected to hold all company Fixed assets Information and hold all operational transaction to address build, maintenance and retirement of network and non-network assets.

The implementation has been completed on time.
